Welcome!  Thank you for your interest and support of the American Discovery Trail Races.  We have celebrated nine years of successful Labor Day races and are proud to present the 10th annual Marathon course.  Our Marathon is a certified point-to-point course that offers a beautiful view of the Pikes Peak region.

If you aren't interested in the marathon, we are certain that we have a race option for you.  Some of the 2010 highlights include:
 

• 4-Person Marathon Relay - Another one of our fantastic additions from 2009.  Start gathering friends and coworkers for a fun team event.  The Relay course will follow the marathon, with leg distances being 6.75, 8.5, 6.75, and 4.20. 
   
  
• The Marathon and Half Marathon are designated State Championship Races for 2010.
    
  
• Marathon pacers - Our pacers for 2010 will range from 3:30 to 5:00 finishing times.
   
  
• Half Marathon pacers - Thanks to the great turnout for our Half Marathon pace groups in 2009, we will continue to offer 1:45 and 2:00 pacers for 2010.
   
  
• Awards - Cash awards for the top three female and male Marathon finishers for 2010: 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, and 3rd - $100.  In addition, all Marathon and Half Marathon age group winners, and Relay award winners will receive a special award.
   
  
• Expo - Thanks to the overwhelming success of the 2009 Expo, we will be expanding the hours.

Register NOW for the 2010 events at Active.com.  Please note, the Dri-Balance shirt comes in female and male sizing (runner selects preferred sizing).  The male shirts run slightly large, while the female shirts are true to size.

Comments from 2009 runners: "I had not intended to use a pacer, but happened to catch him at an aid station. His pace was right on target, even if I thought it was fast a few times.  Harsha was great at encouraging me to finish strong and concentrate on my form instead of the dead legs or any mysterious pain I conjured up. I finished the ADT meeting all 3 goals I had set for myself: a PR, a marathon under 4 hours and a Boston Qualifier. My training did a lot for me, but Harsha’s skill as a pacer was indispensable.  He even stepped aside at the finish line to let me pass! He was awesome."  M.
