Welcome! Thank you for your interest and support of the American Discovery Trail Races, where all proceeds benefit non-profit organizations, including local running events and the stewardship of local trails, open spaces and parks. For more information visit www.trailsandopenspaces.org or www.pprrun.org. We have celebrated eleven years of successful Labor Day races and are proud to present the 12th annual Marathon events in 2012. Our Marathon is a certified point-to-point course that offers a beautiful view of the Pikes Peak region.

If you aren't interested in the marathon, we are certain that we have a race option for you. Some of the 2011 highlights included:

4-Person Marathon Relay - Friends and coworkers grouped for an exciting team event. The Relay course followed the marathon, with leg distances being 6.75, 8.5, 6.75, and 4.20.
The Marathon and Half Marathon were once again, designated State Championship Races for 2011.
Diane Van Deren, North Face Endurance Athlete, shared her story during the EXPO and loved to visit with you after. She gave first timers tips of advice at the start of the half marathon. She was glad that you came by and said hi! Check out Diane's Bio.
Marathon pacers - Our pacers for 2011 ranged from 3:30 to 5:00 finishing times.
Half Marathon pacers - We continued to offer Half Marathon pacers for 2011.
Awards - Cash awards for the top three female and male Marathon finishers for 2011: 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, and 3rd - $100. In addition, all Marathon and Half Marathon age group winners, and Relay award winners received a special award.
Expo - Packet pick-up was held at Antler's Hilton during our Sunday afternoon Expo.
