The America the Beautiful Park (formerly Confluence Park) is located at the star.

Driving and Parking Directions: (Half Marathon and 5K Events)

Directions to the Start/Finish Line from the south: Exit I-25 at Bijou Street (Exit 142) and go east (right) on Bijou St. to Cascade Ave. Turn right (south) on Cascade and drive about five blocks to Vermijo St. Turn west (right) on Vermijo St. and go to Sawatch St. Park in the county parking garage at the corner of Sawatch St. and W. Vermijo St. Alternatively, park along Sawatch St. or S. Sierra Madre in the vicinity of Colorado Avenue. Walk north to Colorado Avenue. Walk west on Colorado Avenue to Cimino Street. Walk south on Cimino to the park. Do not attempt to walk across the railroad yard. Do not attempt to drive directly to the Park. Marshalls will not allow you to park there. Note that Conejos St. is closed off for our events. Also note that Exit 141 is under repair during this year. It is not known whether this exit will be available on Labor Day. Therefore, you are advised to use Exit 142 (Bijou St.).

Driving and Parking Directions: (Marathon) Bus transportation will be provided from downtown Colorado Springs to the start line at Palmer Lake on the morning of the marathon event. Details will be posted here in April.. The finish line for the race will be at the America the Beautiful Park. There will be no parking available at Palmer Lake. Do not plan to drive to the start area and park your car.
